This article is a good basis to understand the sense of political parties and how they have come about within the United States. It is not just one political party ruling the government in our country, rather it consists of various parts that each have their own limitations on power to contribute. For instance, the two-party system has a lot to offer in terms of the elections, but the electoral college also has a stance on determining the outcomes in elections. Overall, this article is a good overview on the various aspects of both political parties, third-parties that exist, and the contribitions of other government bodies that together work as a team to create our democracy in place today.
